In Lucky 9 Card Game: Single Play, individual cards are scored based on the following rules: Aces (A) count as 1, tens and face cards count as 0 (zero), and 2 through 9 are counted according to their numerical value. If the total of the cards is a two-digit number, the last digit is considered as the value of the hand.
The game features Lucky 9s, which are two-card totals of 9 without any tens or face cards. Lucky 9s pay 3 to 2. Lucky 9s tie with a Natural 9 (a 9 plus any tens or face cards) and win against all three-card totals of 9. A winning Natural 9 pays even money and ties with any hand totals of 9.
